The Republican leaders of the House of Representatives grabbed a half dozen bags of sincerity, looked directly into every TV camera they could find, and lied.
The House had just defeated, 228–205, a bipartisan $700 billion bailout bill. But it was the Democrats who were the subject of vicious rhetoric.

I think the most fitting thing to say following up on Stuart’s earlier piece about Nancy Pelosi on Dennis Kucinich presenting a single Article of Impeachment against George W. Bush, to the House of Representatives, is “bring it on.”

Dennis Kucinich must have jumped for joy when Nancy Pelosi commented today that she thought his impeachment resolution may see committee hearings:
