On Monday, in Colorado, during an interview with NBC affiliate KUSA, Palin was asked a question submitted by a third grader: “What does the vice president do?”
In response, Palin said it was a question her daughter Piper, a second grader, would ask her. And then proceeded to get it wrong: “They’re in charge of the [...]

From the NY Times:
MSNBC tried a bold experiment this year by putting two politically incendiary hosts, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, in the anchor chair to lead the cable news channel’s coverage of the election debates. That experiment appears to be over.
After months of accusations of political bias and simmering animosity between MSNBC and its parent [...]

Joan Walsh weighed in on the piece in the New Yorker about Keith Olberman, that I wrote about earlier today. Walsh took offense as I did to what MSNBC head Phil Griffin told the New Yorker Hillary supporters who will “come back” because there’s “nowhere else to go”:

Keith’s comment last night left me speechless and emotional. My commentary on this subject below his video special comment.
My commentary on this Special Comment, crossposted from Political Interviews, the Hillary/Barack Controversies and my belief that this election is about…..well, listen for yourself here. Its mildly profane, heartfelt and emotional.

Personally, I gave up watchingKeith Olbermann months ago, when it was clear that his primary coverage had become biased. James Poniewozik exaimines Olbermann’s latest “gasket” blowing commentary directed at Hillary Clinton and says:
But mostly his outburst reminds me of how the long Democratic primary has divided the left-of-center media (or at least, the media outlets [...]
