I watched the video above and then I read Blake’s piece below on Bobby Kennedy: A Golden Age That Never Was and I was overwhelmed with a wave of tears and deep sadness. Like Blake, I often wonder what might have been, if we had not lost Bobby 40 years ago…

40 years ago today Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated, and the world turned into a darker, meaner place in the decades that followed.

The Argus Leader endorsed Hillary Clinton today noting for “the first time in memory, every state will play a role in choosing a nominee for the nation’s highest office.”

There’s a raging firestorm in the blogopshere over Hillary Clinton’s remarks made “Thursday, in a meeting with the editorial board of the the Sioux Falls Argus Leader.” As I noted below, Clinton has expressed regret for the statement.

Senator Ted Kennedy was hospitalized this morning after suffering from stroke like symptoms. He was rushed by ambulance and initially hospitalized at Cape Cod Hospital and then airlifted to Mass General in Boston.
Kennedy spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter says that “Kennedy has been hospitalized in Boston after suffering a seizure,” rather than a “stroke as initially suspected.”
