This is a great video. An elementary school in Palm Beach, Florida has their own TV news channel, The KEC News Report. They recruit their own grade school reporters, camera people, etc. They really do report the news. The news this day was the speech by Joe Biden at a campaign event.
Notice the competence of [...]

In a speech given on Oct. 21, 2008 Joe Biden says, Barack Obama, “Every Vote Counts”.
This is no time to get complacent because you live in a solid Blue state. Vote, then get busy on election day.
“Every Vote Counts”

“In my neighborhood, when you’ve got something to say to a guy, you look him in the eye and you say it to him.”
– Sen. Joe Biden, quoted by NBC News, pressing Sen. Barack Obama’s challenge to Sen. John McCain for next week’s debate. Biden added a “personal touch to the idea that McCain wasn’t [...]

During the vice presidential debate it became clear that Sarah Palin had not boned up too much on health care as she ducked and dodged Gwen Ifill’s questions on the subject. Biden ended the talk on health care with the zinger of the night. The CNN transcript speaks for itself with my editorializing italicized. Joe Biden [...]

Note to Readers:
1) I want to apologize for not having a chance to post at all today. I had to get the hitch installed on my car this morning for my big move across country, coming up in less than 2 1/2 weeks. It took longer than I expected, and I’ve been spending the day [...]

I’m speechless… Watching Palin and Biden answer the same questions, there was a clear contrast and it’s quite clear who is not cut out to be VP. The transcript is here.

Bill Clinton was on the stump today doing some “powerful campaigning in Florida for the first time on Obama’s behalf.” Clinton, Greg Sargent reports on TPM, “laid out an interesting argument against McCain-Palin, claiming that the economy will consume so much of the new president’s attention that the Veep will be forced to play a [...]

Gawddamn.
After nearly two weeks of screwing the pooch, from a communications point of view, all the reporters today are using the ‘Recovery Plan’ language because the Leadership, as demonstrated by Senator Kerry this morning, in Congress is doing the same thing.
It’s about time since this is all an effort to help the economy and banking [...]

I’ve been a Communications Director. I’ve been in the back of the room restating my candidates words to best effect. I’m good at it. Sorry. That’s not modest yet I believe it true. I’ve sure had a lot of practice trying to bring voters to my candidates point of view or candidacy either in an [...]

Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton sat down together for a web cast with questions from women on the issues that are most important to them. Watch the video here:
As a single mother and a small business owner, I have to say they addressed a lot of issues that important to me, including health care, social [...]

Ouch. Chris Matthews eviscerated McCain surrogate Eric Cantor yesterday on Hardball (h/t Susie at Suburban Guerrilla). If you haven’t seen it, it’s a stunning performance - watch it here.
There is no doubt in my mind who is better for the ecomony and the grand mess we are in. I have said here more than a [...]
