Jeremy Scahill has the full scoop on the HuffPo. Also read Steve’s post at Newshoggers. Reuters reports the U.S. Military has denied “it has allowed soldiers to try to convert Afghans to Christianity.”
Reuters also notes that “Trying to convert Muslims to any other faith is a crime in Afghanistan.”

Pope Benedict XVI approved a declaration yesterday maintaining a 2000 document that Protestants cannot have churches. Saturday the man had reinstated the abolished Latin mass which includes a Good Friday prayer describing Jews as blind to the Christian truth.
