The Dalai Lama Stresses Ethics and Values at MIT

Last week, I drove down to Massachusetts so that I could attend the inaugural event at MIT’s Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values.
My interest in attending the event was two fold:

First –  To hear the Dalai Lama speak because I feel he is one of the great spiritual leaders of our times.
Second – Because I feel [...]

Note to Readers: Off to Boston to Hear The Dalai Lama Speak

I’m heading to the Boston area later today for a 3 days so that I can attend the inaugural event at The Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values at MIT on Thursday, April 30.

Eating pizza causes theocracy

The following is a dual post by The Reaper and Donnie.
Ave Maria is a town in Florida, that is built around a “1,100-seat Roman Catholic church and a traditional Catholic university.” Ave Maria is claimed to be a “refuge of sorts for Christian values in a secular age.” In the continued push for theocracy, [...]

God Help Us: Heckling the Hindu

The NRO’s “The Corner” reports:
Let Us Pray [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
Harry Reid had a Hindu chaplain say the opening prayer in the Senate this morning, a first — it didn’t go over well with some monotheism fans. What ensued this morning was very unfortunate — he got heckled from the balcony.
