Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe said today that the big pow wow between Bill Clinton and Barack Obama is poised to happen with in the next 48 hours.
McAuliffe told CNN’s Candy Crowley that now that “President Clinton is back from a five-nation tour during which he attended Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday party,” Clinton and former [...]

It looks like it’s time for the Clinton fundraisers to jump on to “Unity Pony” and work together with the Obama team…
The Daily News reported today that “Hillary Clinton will join Barack Obama for a joint appearance in Washington next week to persuade her donors to begin giving to the Democrats’ nominee.” Hillary Clinton’s [...]

Former Clinton campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle is joining the Obama team, making it the “first big hire” from the Clinton campaign. I suspect we’ll see a few more Clinton staffers make their way over to the Obama campaign as the Obama team ramps up for the general election. In ‘04, if I am not [...]

The Clinton campaign told CNN that “6,000 people signed up on the New York senator’s Web site to attend the speech.” Here we go…
I couldn’t get the sound to work on HillaryClinton.com, so I missed the beginning of Hillary’s speech. Watching on C-Span now:
“I ask all of you to join me in working as hard [...]

More on the news of Clinton ending her campaign and conceding…
I got this a while ago in my email box from the Clinton campaign on the news I reported here earlier, that she’ll be conceding and expressing her support for Obama:
“Senator Clinton will be hosting an event in Washington, DC to thank her supporters and [...]

Here we go again… Yesterday the media was abuzz that Hillary was set to concede but, as I reported here, her campaign denied the rumors. So again, this morning AP News broke a story that Clinton was “set to concede delegate race to Obama” tonight.
I emailed Clinton’s Internet Communications Director for clarification. Not so, I was told [...]

As I reported here earlier today, the Clinton campaign pushed back on the buzz that Hillary was readying to concede in New York tomorrow night with a strong message that she is not conceding. However, Marc Ambinder notes, while there are no plans for a concession tomorrow night, the Clinton campaign projects “that Clinton will [...]

There’s been rampant speculation in the media and blogosphere today that Hillary Clinton is preparing to concede, starting with the buzz about her plans to spend election night in New York tomorrow night down to Marc Ambinder’s musing on “Clinton Campaign staffers and former campaign staffers are being urged by the Clinton campaign’s finance department [...]

I’m still shaking my head in wonderment over the deal forged at the DNC’s Rules Committee Meeting today. In a nutshell, as Marc Ambinder notes, “Clinton nets 24 delegates out of the day.” Read Ambinder’s take on the closing moments of the meeting. Needless to say there are some unhappy campers all the way around. [...]

The discussion over seating the delegates for Michigan and Florida at the DNC Rules Committee meeting is raging on today.
Carl Levin (above), Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, Ron Gettelfinger and Debbie Dingell weigh in on “why Michigan Democrats must be seated” in an OP/ED in the Detroit News today:
