The Chicago Sun Times reported today that “Robert Novak has announced his immediate retirement following the diagnosis of a brain tumor, a prognosis the Sun-Times’ political columnist describes as “dire.””
“The details are being worked out with the doctors this week, but the tentative plan is for radiation and chemotherapy,” Novak said.

Robert Novak, the conservative syndicated Chicago Sun-Times columnist announced today that “he has been diagnosed with a brain tumor but says that, “God willing,” he plans to be back at work soon.” Sad news…
Novak said he was diagnosed Sunday with a tumor and will soon begin treatment at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Apparently columnist Robert Novak’s victim is worse than the news first reported. WJLA reports ”a hospital source told ABC 7 News,” that the victim is in “worse shape than first thought” and the WaPo has confirmed:
