The WaPo’s Dana Milbank and Chris Cillizza showed themselves as class fools in a “satirical” video on the WaPo called called “Mouthpiece Theater,” in which Milbank “suggests “Mad Bitch” beer would be appropriate for Hilary Clinton.”
Unbelievably classless… Megan Garber notes on CJR:
One wonders how much of the Post staff’s time and resources were devoted to [...]

With investigations underway in Illinois, an ethics probe launched in the Senate, and more and more evidence that he’s a lying, corrupt scoundrel, it is indeed time for Roland Burris to resign.
The Washington Post
From the moment that Mr. Burris was selected, he strove to portray himself as a blameless public servant. The sad pictures of [...]

The erosion of support among Democrats and independents raises the stakes in Tuesday’s Indiana and [...]

Were we quoted in the Wall Street Journal?
From yesterday’s post, “BREAKING: CNBC Reports Dow Jones Sale“:
UPDATE 1:22 PM PDT: The Wall Street Journal is now reporting it, as is The New York Times. (They’re the Number Two and Number Three largest newspapers in America, respectively, albeit not necessarily respectfully). The Numero Uno Paper, USA TODAY [...]

I am writing this as I ride a train from Philadelphia to Boston, on my way to witness what, to me, is a momentous anniversary in our national history, even if it will be barely noticed in our national media, let alone by the circus-captivated American public.
35 years ago this Saturday, April 22nd, a young [...]

I know most of our readers most likely read The Daou Report, but just incase anyone missed it, Peter Daou takes an interesting look at the blogosphere and the work ahead of progressive bloggers.
Here’s a quip:
For progressive bloggers who see a president presiding over the collapse of America’s credibility, the urgent work ahead is to [...]
