As I noted earlier today, The Washington Post has endorsed Obama.
And as my Reaction co-blogger Mustang Bobby noted today as well, three other major newspapers — the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution — have also endorsed Obama. Another one is The Denver Post.

Howard Dean told reporters on Wednesday his next priority is choosing the host city for the 2008 Democratic National Convention. The decision was sidelined in the last weeks of racing to the November 7th election finish. The DNC is negotiating with New York and Denver.

USA Today broke the story of funding cuts for traumatic brain injury (TBI) research at the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center 2 weeks ago. The media response has been unusually abysmal – even in the perspective of the past decade or two of substandard journalism. When I went to write an LTE at the Denver Post Friday, I found 24 links on the home page to Jon Benet articles, plus a slide show and video. Googling produces no other current newspaper articles. TBI is a complex subject for TV to cover with any level of thoroughness.

The Dialogue Project, a public art exhibit that showcases nine 5-by-7-foot screens covered with hundreds of quotes from the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., Emily Dickinson, Mahatma Gandhi and others, is touring US cities until 2007. Designed by San Francisco artist Mike Garibaldi Frick, it is currently in Denver.
