Secretary of State Hillary Clinton put the emphasis on the environment and climate in her talks with China today, inviting China to join the U.S. in an “ambitious effort to curb greenhouse gases, as she toured an energy-efficient power plant in Beijing.”
Clinton told the Chinese government, “we hope you won’t make the same mistakes we made.”

Caroline Kennedy has made it official that she’s interested in Hillary Clinton’s Senate seat. The NY Post has outlined why Kennedy is a good candidate for the seat:
While she hasn’t been especially involved in New York’s political wars, she’s hardly unaware of the issues.
A city resident since shortly after her father’s assassination, she played a [...]

The latest USA TODAY/Gallup Poll has found that Barack Obama is earning “high marks” with the American public for his “handling of the transition and his choices for the Cabinet.”
Even with the bleak outlook over the economy and the news that we are officially in a recession, the USA TODAY/Gallup Poll shows that “[M]ore than [...]

There has been a lot of discussion on the MSM about ACORN and alleged voter registration fraud.
But that is small potatoes. Some may wish you to pay attention to fake names getting registered but that is not about voting fraud. It was registration fraud and nobody contends these fake people ever were intended to vote. [...]

Apparently some die-hard Clinton supporters see Palin as an option. Make no mistake about it, Palin is no Hillary Clinton on women’s issues. Here’s the statement from Ellen R. Malcolm, President of EMILY’s List on Senator McCain choosing Governor Palin (emphasis mine):
“How ironic that, on his 72nd birthday, McCain has raised the question of whether [...]

For all who were hoping for a floor fight today… Those hopes were dashed by a classy show of unity as Hillary Clinton called on the DNC to end the roll call vote and nominate Barack Obama by acclamation (emphasis mine):
Although there was some suspense over how the nomination process would play out, in the end, Senator [...]

I was very sad to read earlier today that Stephanie Tubbs Jones had passed away. Tubbs Jones died “after suffering a brain hemorrhage caused by a burst aneurysm.” She was 58.
Hillary Rodham Clinton, whose presidential candidacy Tubbs Jones had embraced, and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, recalled Tubbs Jones as “one of a kind” [...]

John Kerry’s new ad running in Massachusetts highlights the work he has done in the Senate on veteran’s rights and issues. The legislation that Kerry has had passed in the Senate that benefits and helps veteran’s doesn’t just affect veteran’s in Massachusetts, but all across the country. And that’s why I am supporting John Kerry for Senate. Watch [...]

According to a poll released today, Barack Obama is picking up steam among Latino voters and he is “winning support from the vast majority of those who had voted for rival Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Democratic primaries.”
