The Boston Globe reported earlier that “President Barack Obama will deliver a eulogy at US Senator Edward M. Kennedy’s funeral Mass on Saturday.”

40 years ago today Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated, and the world turned into a darker, meaner place in the decades that followed.
As a young student at Columbia University – off for the summer — I was to join the RFK campaign staff the following week. The spring of 1968 had been exhilarating and tumultuous.

There’s a raging firestorm in the blogopshere over Hillary Clinton’s remarks made “Thursday, in a meeting with the editorial board of the the Sioux Falls Argus Leader.” As I noted below, Clinton has expressed regret for the statement.
