Despite the calls from the pundits, surrogates and “creative class” bloggers for Obama, two new polls show strong support for the Democratic race for the nomination to continue.

CNN’s Political Ticker reports that Mitt Romney continues to do well in the states that truly matter:

CNN recently released the results of their 2008 Democratic Presidential Preference poll.
They reported:
“Clinton was ranked first among 10 potential Democratic candidates.

The battle for control of the U.S. Senate is coming down to the wire and it’s all tied. Rasmussen Reports currently rates 49 Senate seats as Republican or Leans Republican and 49 seats as Democrat or Leans Democrat (see State-by-State Summary). Only two states remain in the Toss-Up category–New Jersey, and Missouri.
