<p style="text-align: center;"><em>Hizzoner</em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">It is surely true that history&#8217;s villains never know that they are villains &#8212; because they are not blessed with self-awareness. How else would one explain New York&#8217;s Michael Bloomberg &#8212; who once spent &#8230; 0h heck, the<em> New York Post</em>:<span id="more-13781"></span></p>
<blockquote><p><strong><a href="http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/bloomberg_price_of_victory_FYy5G4maw2va0vyQoiVZDO" target="_blank">Bloomberg&#8217;s price of victory: $102M</a></strong><br />
<em>By DAVID SEIFMAN City Hall Bureau Chief</em><br />
<em> Last Updated: 7:29 AM, November 28, 2009</em></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>Mayor Bloomberg has become the first person in US history to spend $100 million out of his own pocket to win municipal office.</strong></span><br />
His campaign yesterday released figures that showed<span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong> the mayor burned through $102.1 million &#8212; and counting &#8212; to eke out a third-term victory</strong></span> over underfunded city Comptroller Bill Thompson.</p>
<p>The filings revealed that Bloomberg spent $18.7 million beginning Oct. 20 in the run-up to Election Day &#8212; <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>more than $1 million a day.</strong></span><br />
Since he got just 585,466 votes &#8212; nearly 200,000 fewer than in 2005 &#8212; Bloomberg&#8217;s win by just 4.6 percentage points has, so far, <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>cost him $174 a vote.</strong></span></p>
<p>And this latest filing <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>doesn&#8217;t even include the</strong></span><strong> </strong><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong><a title="Link added by his vorpal sword - Bloomberg's bonuses" href="http://gothamist.com/2009/12/30/after_slight_victory_bloomberg_stil.php" target="_blank"><span style="color: #ff0000;">fat bonuses he has historically doled out</span></a></strong></span><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong> to top aides at the end of the campaign year</strong></span>. If he does so again this time, they would be revealed in the January campaign filings.</p>
<p>By contrast, <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>Thompson,</strong></span> whose filing is due Monday, <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>is expected to have spent less than $10 million.</strong>&#8230;</span></p></blockquote>
<p>Uh, when the 1% are the ones being protested, <a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-11-15/u-s-mayors-crack-down-on-occupy-wall-street.html" target="_blank">how historically clueless would you say Bloomberg&#8217;s little crackdown was</a>?</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-14203" title="bloomberg" src="http://hisvorpal.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/bloomberg.gif" alt="" width="360" height="360" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Hizzoner&#8217;s pique was clearly well-oiled. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jtFMOzQgtY" target="_blank">The Press Conference after the raids inadvertently marked well</a> the &#8220;wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command. &#8220; Thus did Bloomberg <a title="to grant or furnish often in a gracious or condescending manner" href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/vouchsafe" target="_blank">vouchsafe</a> Shelley&#8217;s <a href="http://www.online-literature.com/shelley_percy/672/" target="_blank"><em>Ozymandias</em></a>:</p>
<blockquote>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #000080;">I met a traveller from an antique land</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> Who said: &#8220;Two vast and trunkless legs of stone</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> Tell that its sculptor well those passions read</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> And on the pedestal these words appear:</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> &#8216;My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!&#8217;</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> Nothing beside remains. Round the decay</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,</span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> The lone and level sands stretch far away.&#8221;</span></p>
</blockquote>
<p style="text-align: left;">And we are left with the reality that<a href="http://peopleslibrary.wordpress.com/2011/11/16/update-state-of-seized-library-items/" target="_blank"> the PROPERTY of the 99% was wantonly destroyed by the police action ordered by the 1%</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://peopleslibrary.wordpress.com/2011/11/16/update-state-of-seized-library-items/" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-14207" style="border-color: initial; border-style: initial; border-width: 0;" title="OWS Bible returned by NYPD" src="http://hisvorpal.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/ows-bible-returned-by-nypd.jpg" alt="" width="373" height="500" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Thus proving that the only &#8220;property rights&#8221; they are concerned with is their own.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Alas, Ms. Antoinette, the &#8220;<a title="NYPD raiders roust OWS rabble - NYPOST" href="http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/nypd_raiders_roust_rabble_Dp5jSkaFLwGXYElqsxsWjO/1" target="_blank">rabble</a>&#8221; can only eat cake <a href="http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/11/17/protesters-and-officers-clash-near-wall-street/" target="_blank">for so long</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">And now Bloomberg has written his page in the history books. I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s the page he intended history to read.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-14210" title="bloombergTV" src="http://hisvorpal.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/bloombergtv.jpg" alt="" width="377" height="367" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Courage.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #888888;">===============</span></p>
