Just a note, but if you’re not watching ‘Movies Rock‘ on CBS you are missing a moment in time. It’s a not only a great tribute to Movie Music, that most iconic American artform, but a great showcase for some wonderful talent. Look around the Net if you didn’t see it live and I’m sure [...]

I was finally able to troubleshoot my browser and everything is working as it should. It’s next to impossible for a control freak, such as myself, to accomplish anything, in an orderly [...]

I think this was given, given her support for Bill Clinton: Barbra Steisand, “legendary filmmaker, artist, and Democratic activist,” endorsed Hillary Clinton for President on Tuesday.
Streisand cited Clinton’s ability to bring about change and the historic nature of her campaign as reasons why she is supporting Hillary’s candidacy.
“Madame President of the United States…it’s an extraordinary thought. [...]

Oh, snap! It’s Monday!
Don’t you just hate the Monday after a major holiday? Makes me glad that I’m a stay-at-home mom, Sunday thru Wednesday and that I home-school my children so that I don’t have to wrestle with them on Monday mornings. I can enjoy my morning cuppa in peace and snicker at the rest [...]

The Hill had a quip about Bruce Springsteen’s show in Washington, D.C. on Monday night that included a shout-out to John Kerry as the band queued up to play “Last to Die.” “Last to Die” from Springsteen’s latest, Magic, was inspired by John Kerry’s Senate Committee on Foreign Relations testimony on April 22, 1971.

I’m really digging this extra daylight. But, then, I’m a morning person. But, while everyone around me is groaning about how they hate Daylight Savings Time, all I can say is I love it because I have no problem, literally, jumping out of bed before dawn. Now, in the Spring, when Daylight Savings Time starts, [...]

Bruce Springsteen currently has the No 1 album in the charts, he’ll probably be up for a Grammy for the Best Album of the Year, and his tour is sold out across the country, but even still Republican owned, censor machine Clear Channel is out to pull The Boss from the airwaves. Readers here know, [...]

Let me start by saying thanks to Pamela and Donnie for inviting me to blog on The Democratic Daily!
Baby and how!
UFOs in Colorado? Saved by a violin? Poor people wiser than their middle-class counterparts? Republi-pundits freaking out?
A lot of freaky stuff, just in time for Halloween!
So hold out your trick or treat bag and [...]

Big time. “Senator Barack Obama is drawing criticism for signing up a gospel singer with controversial views about gay men and lesbians for his campaign in South Carolina. The Obama campaign has recruited several gospel acts , including Donnie McClurkin, for a statewide tour to begin this week in Charleston.
“Gospel music is one of many [...]

Hillary Clinton wowed a crowd of college age Bostonian’s last night at a fundraiser that featured N.Y.-based band the Goo Goo Dolls as the headliners of the event. The Goo Goo Dolls ”performed its own brand of soft rock in between stumping for Clinton.”

U2’s frontman Bono was on the Hill last week “to solicit ideas for publicizing the successes of U.S. government programs and his own charitable initiatives in combating poverty, AIDS and other ills in Africa.” Bono met with members of the House and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
A few days before Bono was in Philly to [...]
