Last night I watched the coverage of the New Hampshire primary results on MSNBC. I listened as Chris Matthews said, “I give her a lot of personal credit; I will never underestimate Hillary Clinton again.” As he said that, I thought to myself, “yeah right.”

The pundits, pollsters and talking heads are tripping over each other trying to figure out how Hillary Clinton defied the polls and narrowly grabbed the win in the New Hampshire primary last night. Apparently there were quite a few factors that went into play including the women’s vote.
Women turned out in droves in NH to vote [...]

Congratulations to Hillary Clinton. You Go Girl!
NBC has called New Hampshire for Hillary. AP News is also calling it for Clinton. Update: It’s official.
As a woman, I gotta say, I couldn’t be more thrilled to see Hillary pull this off. This race isn’t over yet. I had tears in my eyes when I heard the [...]

It’s still too close to call, but Hillary Clinton is leading with 65% of the precincts in. (Updating as the results change)
Per CNN: Clinton has 39% of the vote, Obama 37% and Edwards 17%.
With the race as tight as it is between Clinton and Obama, folks claiming Obama was a shoe-in after Iowa might want [...]

There’s been rumblings all day about a shakeup in the Clinton campaign including false rumors reported by Faux News, that Begala and Carville were jumping in. The Begala - Carville to the rescue story has been debunked and now Chris Cillizza on The Fix reports:

TNR has a piece on Ron Paul today that should be a wake up call on “The bigoted past of Ron Paul.” Here’s a quip:
Paul’s alliance with neo-Confederates helps explain the views his newsletters have long espoused on race. Take, for instance, a special issue of the Ron Paul Political Report, published in June 1992, [...]

As is tradition in New Hampshire, the first votes in the New Hampshire primary were cast at Midnight in Dixville Notch and Hart’s Location.
Four years ago, the two towns favored Wesley Clark, but as we all know it was John Kerry who was the winner of the New Hampshire primary.

I grew up on the Massachusetts - New Hampshire border and lived for 33 years years not far from where this incident happened today in Salem, NH. It’s just another sad statement on the treatment Hillary Clinton is getting that is, to be frank oh, so sexist:

Stuart posted the video below of Hillary Clinton’s tearful moment on the campaign trail in New Hampshire today. I got to say, I am just downright disgusted at the sexist spin over this. Downright disgusted. And what respect I had managed to muster for John Edwards message of late… well, that is down the tubes [...]

Last night I reported here about a rumor that John Kerry would be endorsing Obama soon. I checked with my sources, as I noted in my post and was told that ”Kerry still hadn’t decided.”
Kerry stayed out of the NH fray today, the last day before the primary and opted instead to visit a waste-to-energy prototype [...]
