Last night I watched the coverage of the New Hampshire primary results on MSNBC. I listened as Chris Matthews said, “I give her a lot of personal credit; I will never underestimate Hillary Clinton again.” As he said that, I thought to myself, “yeah right.”
Well, “yeah right,” was right. As Greg Sargent points out today:

NBC and The NY Times have called it for John McCain:
Sen. John McCain won New Hampshire’s Republican primary Tuesday, defeating former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and climbing back into contention for the party’s presidential nomination. [...]

I’m watching Matthews and Olberman on MSNBC.. NBC has just called the GOP caucus for Mike Huckabee.
With 40% of the vote in for the Dems, it’s Obama at 33%, 32% for Edwards and Clinton.
Apparently, it’s the “values” or evangelical voters again who are picking the candidate for the GOP in Iowa.
MSNBC says the “turn out [...]

In the wake of the news yesterday that Dennis Kucinich was urging his supporters in Iowa to make Barack Obama their sceond choice in the caucus, Chris Dodd announced on Wednesday that he would not make a deal for his supporters with any other campaign. The Obama campaign has been on the defensive in the wake of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, thanks to some tacky (to say the least) comments from Obama spokesman David Axelrod. Last night Barack Obama attempted to “vigorously” defend Axelrod during a CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer.:
As Lynn Sweet reports, the interview didn’t play out to well for [...]

There’s a lot been said on the candidate’s reactions in the wake of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination on Thursday. There was the huge gaffe from Mike Huckabee that critics have picked apart and then there was Ron Paul blaming America, which went over like a lead balloon with the wingnuts. But the discussion of the day [...]

Bill Moyers on his Bill Moyers Journal interviewed Keith Olbermann on December 14, 2007. I watched it online today as I’ve been taking a break from all forms of media. It was an astoundingly good interview. Watch it at the PBS site as they have the best feed.
Watch Olbermann as he says, “It is the [...]

There’s a lot of discussion in the blogosphere today about the Bill Clinton interview with Charlie Rose. As Marc Ambinder says, “Well, He Just Puts Everything On The Table.” Clinton was quick to discuss the “experience factor,” which is what has everyone buzzing. You can watch a clip of the interview here:

If you pay attention to political news, you’ve heard of Mike Huckabee. My formal introduction came Sunday morning on This Week, and I found it interesting. Not as interesting, perhaps, as if Stephanopolus had tried to get original in his questions. There are a set of “issues” that are supposed to be difficult for Huckabee, [...]
