Israel’s position on the Palestinian issue is well known. Each side had agreed to a six month cease fire. Both sides accused the other of violations. 3 days after the end of the six month cease fire Israel attacked what they say were Hamas headquarters. I can only trust that they know what the hell [...]

There’s a lot of vim and vinegar being slung around the internets, today. It’s like there’s a hot political race going on…wait…my bad!
Part of the reason for all the fire and brimstone, methinks, is due to the lack of truthiness from some quarters (I won’t say where. I will say it starts with a letter [...]

Let’s jump right in, to today’s Ten Post Round-Up, why don’t we? The last few days have shed [...]

Universal Press Syndicate odds columnist Benjamin Eckstein says, “In the world of betting and gambling, your word is your bond. Whether it’s a $7 bet or a $500,000 bet, once it’s made and once you shake on it, it should be done.” That’s why he’s stepped up and has made offers to both T. Boone [...]

I’ve been watching this meeting and I have reached at least one conclusion. Somehow, and I can’t understand how, Barack Obama has managed once again to stack the room with his supporters.
Since there were only 500 seats available and they were allocated in seconds after being offered, I don’t understand how Obama accomplished the task. [...]

On Air America’s Politically Direct with David Bender, CT Senate candidate Ned Lamont said “Don’t confuse experience with judgement” I am really glad Bender caught that and commented since it was in the middle of a complex statement and could easily been lost.

Democratic Daily reader Sam Osborne emailed me this LTTE, that I felt was worth sharing in light of the agreement reached yesterday by the GOP on Bush’s “detainee bill.” It’s still ugly no matter how we frame it.
Bush apologists have wheeled out a straw man: a detainee possessing knowledge which if forced from his evil [...]

I suspect we will hear more stories like this in the days, weeks, months to come. Why this police officer could not take this man to church or shelter is beyond me.
ATLANTA – A man who fled Louisiana with his family to escape Hurricane Katrina was arrested for asking motorists for money in this city [...]
