Actor Val Kilmer, a.k.a Doc Holiday, is considering running for New Mexico governor in 2010, when Gov. Bill Richardson (D) will be forced from office by term limits, the AP reports. Said Kilmer: “I’m just looking for ways to be contributive. And if that ends up being where I can make a substantial contribution, then [...]

An independent agency of the RNC is running an ad using Hillary Clinton’s words from the primaries against Obama. Politico reports that Clinton has responded to the ad:
“I’m Hillary Clinton, and I do not approve that message,” Clinton tells the New York delegation of McCain’s ad that features her old criticism of Obama.
Clinton says Democrats are [...]

This video was made to point out the idiocy of many marketing and branding campaigns. The unfortunate reality is that this video is all too true. Ever wonder how some of the truly boneheaded moves get made in the commercial world? Well, watch this and you’ll see how the same damn boneheaded moves get made [...]

Apparently columnist Robert Novak’s victim is worse than the news first reported. WJLA reports ”a hospital source told ABC 7 News,” that the victim is in “worse shape than first thought” and the WaPo has confirmed:
The Washington Post confirmed the victim’s identity to be 66-year-old Don Lilkinquist. A source who saw Lilkinquist said he had appeared somewhat incoherent. Lilkinquist also appeared to have casts on [...]

Ed Rendell had the best quote of the day: “Speaking Tuesday on MSNBC, Rendell said he has not been vetted by the Obama campaign, indicating he’s not a focus for their search.
“I haven’t been contacted by anybody — showing that the Obama campaign has good sense,” Rendell said, adding that Obama would do well to [...]

Newsweek’s first sentence: “Whether they’ve lost homes or businesses, many Iowans still feel blessed because they survived–and have good neighbors.” It is the beginning of personal tales of survival and helping other to survive.
This story of disaster, survival, hard work and preparation and we won’t know true extent of it all for weeks. Americorps has [...]

I’m busy… busy… busy today, but I wanted to make sure that readers get on over to HillaryClinton.com and donate today before the fundraising deadline. Here’s the email that Campaign Chairman Terry McAuliffe just sent out:
Dear Friend,
Time is running out! There are just a few short hours left before our big fundraising deadline, and every [...]

Just a random passing thought this morning: After seeing Obama on “MTP” yesterday, followed by Kerry’s interview on “This Week” (and Kerry’s “glad people see what I saw” in Obama when asked about Obama running) made me immediately consider that possibility:
Assuming JK runs, what would a Kerry/Obama ticket do for the party and the country?
