Say what? The McCain campaign had an ad up that was ‘misleading.’
Via Politico:
YouTube has removed a webad that casts Sarah Palin as the victim of sexism on the request of CBS, whose anchor Katie Couric was featured in the ad.
“One of the great lessons of that campaign is the continued and accepted role of sexism [...]

The New York Daily News is reporting that a “source close to” Hillary Clinton has ”confirmed she won’t file a formal request to the convention asking to be nominated along with Barack Obama.”
Personally, I’m not surprised at all by this news and have suspected that it was a given that she would not request to be nominated. [...]

Politico reported today that “Governor Bill Richardson is set to announce today that he’s hosting a pair of fundraising events for Hillary Clinton in New Mexico August 17, which is being cast as one of the higher-profile installments of Obama’s effort to help Clinton retire her debt.”
This is a gracious move on Richardson’s part as [...]

I do not condone the moving of primaries to compete with other states for attention.
In fact, the Republican Party, or should I say the Republic Party, is using the turmoil in Florida to its advantage.
As reported:
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -
Florida’s Republican Party is using a feud between state and national Democrats over the presidential primary as a [...]

Why of course I will help!
The state Democratic Party is seeking volunteers to begin organizing for the 2007 elections.
Volunteers will take up grass-roots efforts in Terrebonne, canvassing neighborhoods, working phone banks and volunteering to assist with local campaign events. “You don’t have to devote a lot of time, only as much as you have to [...]

A 43 year old school bus driver was fired for reportedly making an obscene gesture at President Bush. The bus driver has now filed a union grievance in an attempt to get her job back. While Republican Rep. Dave Reichert did not see the gesture, that did not stop him from calling Issaquah superintendent Janet [...]
