Obviously Obama’s “tired” — who wouldn’t be after months of campaigning. Marc Ambinder thinks if John McCain had said it, the “media would be all up in his grill, accusing him […]

The most intriguing part of the State of the Union Address for me was watching the Kansas Governor audition for the second spot on the Obama ticket. The main lesson I took from the entire experience, however, is that Obama is playing a dangerous game by creating expectations that he almost certainly cannot deliver on.
Sebelius […]

AFP ran a very amusing story today about Al Gore and Bono at the World Economic Forum in Davos, discussing Global Warming.

There’s a lot been said on the candidate’s reactions in the wake of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination on Thursday. There was the huge gaffe from Mike Huckabee that critics have picked apart and then there was Ron Paul blaming America, which went over like a lead balloon with the wingnuts. Perhaps it’s simply a bad day, but I’m fed up.
* I’m fed up with Senator Obama saying his experience between the ages of 6 and 10 years old is a prime reason he understands international relations better than his opponents. Jesus goddamn christ, Buddha-in-a-skirt, Moses-lost-on-a-hogfarm, (there did I miss offending anyone?),how simply stupid have our […]
